Keep meaning to mention that many mornings, like today, I have caught a whiff of skunk in the yard.  Haven't seen any sign of one, unless that's the critter that is hollowing out the grapefruit rinds I keep finding on the ground? The good news is that SO FAR Brownie has not had any unfortunate interactions.... and I sure hope that trend continues!!!

I enticed Alex to join me for lunch (turkey soup, with some leftover rice added) and then some of Wanda's yummy fudge for dessert.  We both enjoyed our meal immensely!

Did a little more ordering (Sandy helped with a suggestion for Andy) and watered plants out front.  Haven't done any yardwork lately so the cans went out pretty empty on Monday - but I see raking in my future.
