Alex got a terrific clip of Brownie and Vera playing this afternoon, and Pokey even made a cameo appearance.  Enjoy their 13 seconds of fame!

 I've certainly enjoyed our "cool" <g> fall weather, but triple digits return for the next several days, meaning we are on track to set yet another weather record this year.  While most years we experience serious heat until Halloween, it would be absolutely lovely to be surprised and have this seemingly endless summer actually end sooner than that!

Forgot to mention that I enjoyed a long chat with Cassandra over the back fence this morning.  She and Josh have been working hard on their "new" place, and it shows.  Today their Back 40 was being graded in preparation for getting irrigation at some point.  With five boys (ages 6-12) they should enjoy it once they can grow a lawn back there.
