Phase I of today's yardwork is done, with all the piles moved to the bulk trash staging area and the ground raked and tidy.  I did wear my garden gloves since there were a few errant lemon tree strands, and those have very nasty thorns.

My leather gloves, which are wonderful, are also definitely well-used, 

and "may" have been part of the reason for the blood-letting yesterday.

I've been looking for a replacement pair like them (small size, pliable) for a long time. Remember my rant last fall when the garden department at a full-size WalMart had NO gloves?  And neither did the hardware department.  So I'm still on the hunt.

Now I think I'll put off some stuff that needs doing here at the house 

by taking Brownie for a walk.
