I rearranged the pile of dirt back by the irrigation box, shoveling and raking, so it's ready 'just in case' we get that possible rain the latter part of this week. "Look, Ma, no weeds."

FYI - No sign of life yet from the cocoon on the block.

Haven't heard back from Edie yet about additional dirt deliveries. But when Alex was riding his dirt bike around the neighborhood late this afternoon he saw Mike, the owner of the modern house on Morrow, outside - and turns out Mike's a guy Alex has talked to at the bike track.  Mike not only has a construction business, and thus equipment like a skip loader - which he's offered to let Alex use "any time"!

So I may be getting dirt tomorrow.

This afternoon Alex harvested three more bags of tangelos from Joy & Dick's across the street, and I promptly turned them into juice, a quart for Tom and a half gallon for Alex.

For some people (certainly not me, though) it's swimming weather.  Alex says the water has warmed up considerably since he last got in a few days ago.  It's not that surprising since we have had stunningly perfect warm and sunny days lately.  But Wednesday it will cool off considerably and then according to the news the temperatures "will plummet" and then we can expect a "chilly high of only 70 degrees" <g> on Thursday and Friday.

FYI This is his current work-from-home "office":

Mystery Science Theater 3000 nailed it...
