Tom left for San Diego at 5:00 this morning to deliver two dozen of his best fire obsidian stones to be photographed for an exciting new project.  He had them all packaged up yesterday but then just couldn't bring himself to drop them off at the post office.  No matter for how much he insured the package it could never make up for the loss of the stones.

Before dinner last night we finished a book puzzle. We're certainly not the only ones passing the time doing jigsaws, and a lot of them are being advertised on FB.  But it was definitely a coincidence that (never having mentioned/pictured that particular puzzle) it then showed up in my FB feed last evening!

We did think it strange that with all the wonderful books out there, the puzzle included Black Beauty twice (though with different covers.)

I have a somewhat busy morning planned.  

(Of course these days the term 'busy' is somewhat relative...)

Becky will be calling around 8:30 to conduct a phone conference, and after that Mary is going to drop by with some home-baked scones.  I'm looking forward to the porch visit with her even more than the sweet goodies!

Also will be calling the CPAP people to see why I still haven't received the replacement parts that were mailed out last Friday.
