I did make it up to the swimming pool this afternoon, though didn't swim but instead stayed on the deck chatting with Marna.  Brownie was nice and relaxed -

and had no clue that there was a deer grazing nearby 

on the other side of the wall by the Apple Pool.

We noticed a couple in the swimming pool checking out something in the tree above, and it turned out to be a hummingbird sitting on a nest.  I'm concerned about the babies when they fledge, since Mama's choice of real estate may not have been too wise; even though it's a lovely tree, the branches are right over the pool.  Hope the little ones do well on their first flight - or it will be their last!
