Today we enjoyed a delightful Riderwood brunch!  Unfortunately the private dining room wasn't available, so we had to split up into two (adjoining) tables.  It was Ann's first visit to Riderwood (though she has heard only wonderful things about it over the years) and I know she had a great day.

Incredible to believe that she will be turning 100 in May!

Rachelle brought beautiful flowers for Mom (which we took up to the apartment to pop into some water before we ate) though I didn't make time to snap a picture.  I'll put that on tomorrow's agenda!

While we were waiting for the rest of the gang to arrive, Lucille cruised by.  We are hoping to do lunch together on Tuesday.  (Lucille's another one who outranks Mom age-wise by several years.)

And speaking of age, my Uncle Allen (Dad's brother) will turn 97 in March.

Maggie (who "somehow" snuck into more pictures than anyone else) had to show her knowledge of anatomy by pointing out the various parts of Bana's face.

Mom, of course, arranged to be seated next to Maggie.  :-)

And somehow I scored the other coveted spot, on Maggie's other side.  Despite the look she's giving me, she really was enjoying the sherbet I was feeding her for dessert.

Ed & Emily, Sandy, and Charlie and Harry were at the table next to us.  It was too bad we couldn't all fit at one table - but Maggie's parents may have enjoyed the mini-break from her? <g>

Maggie made us all smile.

Andy, though, got the biggest laugh of the day: It used to be that medical staff trying to assess the mental capability of patients would ask who the current president was... but now that question just upsets people, and sends their blood pressure sky-rocketing.

Mom, across the table, hadn't heard it, but had to wait for all of us
to stop cracking up so we could let her in on the joke.

No, seriously, who's president now?

Of course we all remember the scene in Back to the Future
when Doc finds out that Reagan is president:
