Skimmed a week's worth of newspapers (one week down, one to go), scheduled an oil change next week, made an eye doctor appointment (also next week), ordered new meds (will have to wait around tomorrow to sign for those), reconciled the latest bank statement, ordered the  thermorests, wrapped a package and made a trip to the PO to mail it, figured out a date for quilt camp here (in April), returned the book due today to the libe, made a Target run, stopped at quilt store for Foothills' birthday fat quarters, gassed up the car, dropped off a quilt pattern for Jeannie, etc.  Amazing what I can accomplish when I get up at 4:00 a.m.

In between errands in one direction and another I stopped in at the house for 30 seconds just to unload, which is when Alex stopped in.  He had been down the block at Shelley's getting a haircut, and bought a box of Girl Scout cookies from Emmy.  AND he offered one of the rolls to me.  And yes, as a matter of fact I did inhale almost the entire roll in one sitting... great 'lunch'!
And just now Tom called.  He and Carlo have been out running errands and have stopped at Schlotsky's for a late lunch, and have offered to bring me back one.

Life is good!
