I have a list of things to start do to get things ready for Mom's return to her apartment, whenever that may be.  Top of that list is ordering a hospital bed to keep her from falling out of bed!  And replacing the king size bed with a single one will also make maneuvering in the bedroom a lot easier,   Other safety fixes include getting a handheld shower attachment, and replacing the towel bar outside her shower with a sturdy grab rail.

Making an appt. with her ENT to have her ear wax cleaned could possibly "fix" her hearing aid.  (She does that periodically, and was scheduled for that 6 weeks ago when her trip to the hospital stay interfered.)  But I still need to have her hearing aid checked.   Lots of other things on the list, so I will be busy - which makes it especially frustrating that I woke at 3:00 and never went back to sleep.
