I enjoyed a nice visit with Monica when she stopped by to deliver the quilt.  

The circle pattern she chose is perfect!

It was successful visit with the doc.  Today's x-rays looks good, and he says the 'bump' is scar tissue which should dissolve if I massage it with Vitamin E oil.  We picked up some on our way home so I can get started on that.

The REALLY good news is that I've gotten the OK 

to start some weight-bearing with the boot and crutches!

So 'guess' what I did once we arrived home?

If all goes well, in two weeks I will be allowed to graduate to a regular shoe.

PT people should be calling me within the next day or so to schedule those sessions.
