Alex was dog-sitting French bulldog Vera today while her mom was off hiking.  The dogs had an absolutely wonderful time racing around the yard together, and Brownie cracked up us by executing a roll each time Vera would catch up with him.  Unfortunately their play time had to be cut short because of Vera's breathing problems; all that racing around made her sound horrible.  Would have loved to get a video clip of the two of them playing tag with each other, but had to settle for this shot of them chasing the after the ball - where it looks like Pokey is bringing up the rear!

Block B is going together splendidly, with everything matching up well.

Didn't get as much sewing done today as I would have liked; sitting is still uncomfortable and I kept taking breaks to lie on the heating pad.  This evening I've switched back to the ice pack since the heat (though feeling good when I'm on it) doesn't seem to be addressing the issue.
