We got a little rain yesterday while I was at Marcie's - just enough to rinse the dust off the trees.  Later it rained a fair amount later throughout the evening, and from the puddles this morning it looks like it lasted a while after I went to bed.  It's still quilt cloudy this morning, so we may get some more of that 50% rain chance today.  Once the sun reappears everything in our newly trimmed yard will surely be bright and shiny green - and we might even see some rainbow swirls!

Our wonderful big elm, which got a trim and shaping,
will provide shade when it leafs out soon -

Trimming back this monster bush (it came out past the dirt)
really opened up that side of the front yard.

This elm had huge heavy limbs threatening the garage and roof -
but no more.

The tops of the olive trees are nicely shaped now.

Our lemon tree is now considerably smaller - but we've collected a zillion lemons once all the upper limbs came down.

The mulberry trees will soon leaf out.
