Jana's presentation of  Wild, Weird, Wicked Arizona at the library yesterday was fun and informative - and I think Tom would also have enjoyed it.

Jana Bommersbach will take you on a “romp through Arizona’s colorful history that will shock, delight, inform, tickle and leave you wanting more!"

Tom, however, was having "fun" of his own with Bill.  They were trying to raise the hood over the stove because 'for some reason' Tom's tired of banging his head on the glass when he's cooking.  As I remember - correctly, it turns out - there was an issue during the initial installation and they couldn't mount it any higher. That was all coming back to them as I walked in from the library, and Tom was a tad <g> cranky.

It was raining when Marcie and I left the library, and is currently raining again this morning.  Nice that it waited until I did all that raking and smoothing of dirt this past week.  Unfortunately Tom's mowing was interrupted yesterday when Bill arrived, and of course now that will have to wait until things dry out.

Have had no luck locating the Paul Hutton quote from Jana's presentation yesterday (though did find plenty of info on him.)  The quote was something along the lines of "in Arizona, the plants have stickers, the birds have talons, the reptiles have fangs."
