I have now finished the first 40 string blocks, and here they are, in no particular order.  When it does come time to sew them together, I will likely spend (too much) time rearranging them in an effort to keep like colors apart. 

At this point I am "officially" out of Dinky Dots fabric, though a yard has been ordered and should arrive within the week.  It's a toss-up which headache will end up on the agenda for tomorrow, the paper-piecing project or replacing the shredded pockets in Alex's jeans.

Now I think I'll venture outside for a little reading time in the sun.  

Since I finished a library book last night I get to start my newest one.  On the drive home from the library the other day I peeked at the first couple of pages, and it starts off great.
