Yesterday's "anti" diabetes menu was a virtual repeat of the previous day's, except dinner beans were  garbanzos.  Since I'm now out of tomatoes, avocadoes, and HB eggs, today's lunch will have to be something different.

In the heat of the afternoon (before he and Gabby played in the pool) Alex tried to work at getting rid of that last bit of seal.  He also struggled with it - and soon gave up because the deck was just too hot to work on despite trying to cool it off by throwing water on it.

Alex called Tom yesterday, probably to give him a heads up about Father's Day.  Alex has been staying far away from me for a while now (a number of people he knows have tested positive, and he's waiting on the results of his own test.)  He'll want to stay away from Tom also, which sort of puts a damper on any celebratory get-together tomorrow.

Tom reported that Idaho's weather had finally cleared so he and Carlo were going fishing yesterday.  Hope they had a successful day.

I never should have 'boasted' yesterday about not needing sleep meds for an entire week.  Guess <g> what I ended up having to do last night...
