Marcie and I had a wonderful time oohing and ahhing at Gina Perkes' fabulous trunk show this afternoon.  I've seen her many times over the years at various quilt shows, and greatly admire her talent.  I remember the first time I was exposed to her beautiful quilts, when she came to Busy Bees (almost 20 years ago) as a fairly new quilter - and even with 3 young children she was incredibly prolific.  The woman's talent and skill is beyond amazing; it's no wonder that her quilts win top awards at all the big shows!  It was exciting for all of us (lots of Busy Bees and Foothills friends there) to hear that she plans to open a store here in the Valley, where she will teach classes.

On the way home we stopped in at the library because I had books to drop off and pick up.  Now Marcie not only knows where 'our' library is, but she's signed up with a library card.

Just got a text from Aja.  She has to be in our area to take a test tomorrow, and wonders if we would like to visit with Tyga for a few hours.  Yes!
