Yesterday Wanda came over to gave her "Seale" of approval to my landscape project, and then we went out to lunch.  I've been dragging, so I didn't get much else done the rest of the day except nap off and on between movies.

This morning I decided to get stuff done.  First I picked up my quilts at Jeannie's, and was very happy with the judges' critique of Mr. Popper's Penguins in the 9 categories of workmanship, appearance, and design: 4 Good, 2 Very Good, and 3 Excellent.

Then it was time for errands.  For starters I gassed up the car and made my first trip to the grocery store.  The frig (which I cleaned yesterday) looks considerably happier now with some food in it.  I forgot to get stamps while I was there (so I could mail all the bills I paid yesterday) so after putting away the groceries I made a second stop at the store before heading off on the rest of my errands.

When I stopped in at the printing store to get the hummingbird picture blown up I showed Donna how the first picture she blew up for me turned out.  She was most impressed with the landscape project, and can hardly wait to see how this hummingbird turns out.

As long as I was right there by TOQS I stopped in to show Sherri my landscape project.  Lots of ladies in there, and everyone oohed and aahed over it.   When I mentioned that I'd tried to stop in at the bead store on Bell by Kohl's only to discover it has gone out of business, she mentioned there was a very nice bead store just a mile away, at 43rd & Cactus.  So I popped over there, only to find out that that store is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Still, I did manage to cross a fair number of items off of my to-do list.  I was thinking about doing some yardwork, but it's already pretty warm out.  So I'm rethinking that!
