Patti invited Elmo to come over there with me today, so he helped me deliver Patti's gift - which she loved. The colors are MUCH brighter than they appear here - that's a very bright yellow fabric with glittery gold - and one pic is very blurry... but you get the idea.

Elmo also tried to wake up Zach (that was Patti's idea), and Elmo has been invited back <g> by both of them sometime during his stay here.

The WalMart grocery store was mobbed (no real surprise) and so was Fry's.  I actually made 3 grocery store trips since I ended up having to go back to WalMart (it's a long story, involving croissants...) But it turned out to be a good thing because I saw a woman wearing a great sweatshirt. (Lisa used to have a wonderful rainbow sweatshirt someone made for her when she was little, using this technique.)  Maybe some of the quilting ladies would like to make one like it for next year's gifts?  Better start saving the 'ornaments' (cute little charms) now!

Tom kept an eye on Elmo while I was at the grocery stores (I was glad not to have to crate him) and later on Tom coaxed Elmo up onto his chair to help him play solitaire. (He thought Elmo looked lonely.)

This afternoon I made all of my phone calls and appointments, and then the deviled eggs for tomorrow (everything else can be done in the morning while the turkey is cooking.) In a few minutes we're off to Jeannie & Rich's for a dinner party.  Everyone is bringing an hors d'oeuvre (yes, Tom made ours) and there will be a competition of sorts.

Hope we don't get stuck in traffic...
