Got the idea for taking some hummer shots from a somewhat different perspective (lying on a towel on the ground) after seeing a similar pic elsewhere.  This was not a particularly busy time (noonish) but I do plan to snap again in the early evening when the hungry hordes are frantically tanking up to get through the night.

Here are a few miscellaneous shots that never got their 15 seconds of fame -

This pink nylon hammock (just as portable as the netting one I used to have, but looking MUCH more comfy!) was up for a few days last week in the apricot tree next to the permanent kiddie swing.  Pretty sure it belonged to the folks camping just to the right of the trail (out of view here.)

Haven't seen many rock "structures", though Warren is slated to be here soon, and he builds wonderfully intricate balanced stacks and arches.  While this one is comprised of only two rocks, it looked a little tricky.

Neil is now set for the day (the chamois I brought seems much easier on his tender skin than a regular towel) so I think I'll go celebrate National Nude Day up at one of the pools.
