And speaking of mothers (I was, anyway) - we're always asking dumb questions, right?
Gas prices here have been rising steadily since Labor Day. At least I'm no longer sharing my car with Lisa now that she's back at school; most of her friends live on the other side of the Valley, meaning it felt like I was filling the tank every other day.
And if gas prices aren't distressing enough
