It continued to rain steadily yesterday afternoon and through the night (sometimes rather heavily) which is good news for the fire. I dozed off during the movie yesterday afternoon, which may be part of the reason I could not go back to sleep after my 2:00 am bathroom run (or it could have been all the chocolate I ate while watching the movie...) By the time I realized that, it was too late to take anything, so I read until the wee hours of the morning (5:00?) when I finally went back to sleep for a couple of hours. 

This morning I am dragging, with that 'sand in the eyes' feeling, on a gloomy, foggy morning. Maybe a soak in the Apple Pools is just what I need?
