Found the car battery warranty in the glove box, which was good for a replacement during the first two years; unfortunately that deadline passed 5 months ago. (Our heat is so hard on batteries, and I'm just glad that this one didn't strand anyone!)  I called John, the mechanic a few doors up from us, who picked up a new battery for me and just finished installing it.  So I'm good to go for another couple of years...at least battery-wise!

Other good news is that according to my bathroom scale I've only gained 5 pounds, not the 15 that Terry's scale registered.  That's a relief!

I've been working on resizing/orienting my 400+ vacation pix, though I've barely made a dent in them.  So I guess it's back to work...
