Works for me!

The program at the quilt show on Saturday included these 4 "Rules":
  1. Always buy fabric no matter how much you already have.
  2. Use a lot of spit for tiny droplets of blood; this always makes the quilt personal.
  3. Sew all day and all night... absolutely no cooking allowed.
  4. Start a new quilt before the last one's finished.  This requires you to go back to Rule #1.
And still wondering if you're 'really' a quilter?

In Other News: I'm now driving a (rental) 2011 red Ford Focus (Alex is driving my Accura) until his Saturn is fixed.  The body shop should know today or tomorrow about the extent of the damage from the accident and be able to estimate the cost of repairs.  If all goes well I assume the insurance company will decide by the end of the week whether to fix it or consider it totaled and give us cash.  Very nice that they're paying for a rental vehicle for the duration.

Seen any flying pigs lately?  Not at MY house!

Alex's laundry had piled up in his room for week after week after week (well, you get the idea) and was a tad aromatic, and (multiple) pleasant requests to deal with it were met with, "I'm doing laundry this weekend" but of course 'somehow' weekend after weekend slipped by and that never happened.
I finally took all of it and dumped it on the back porch, with instructions that it was NOT coming back into the house unless it was headed into the washing machine.  Amazing how many loads of laundry got done that weekend!
