Did get some sewing done today, so now Andy & Sandy's gifts are both ready to quilt. Maybe I'll start on that tomorrow.  But I was stymied trying to figure out the satin stitch on my machine (even with the instruction book) and eventually gave up.  Obviously I'm going to have to call in the big guns for this one...

The Lottery is up to an obscene amount (500 million dollars), so Alex and Aja each bought a ticket.  (Though according to the odds makers, they have a better chance of being hit by a meteor than winning.)  Of course as Alex reminded me, "somebody" has to win... so it might as well be them?
