Rachelle and I had a delightful visit downtown Wednesday night once I managed to park in the Sheraton's underground lot.  (Thank goodness for the 'help' button!)
We had dinner at Durant's, which we both thought was over-priced (and then our medium-rare prime rib arrived very rare.)  Their unique set-up gave us both a chuckle: the way in from their parking lot is through the kitchen!

We gabbed non-stop through the evening, and caught up on stuff (she's getting married in November, so of course I wanted all the details on that) and then I spent the night.  Both of us awoke hours before that morning's wake-up call so we were able to continue chatting until it was time for her breakfast meeting.  And somehow <g> we were so busy we totally forgot to take a pic so I have nothing to share in that department.

Amy stopped by Thursday afternoon to deliver Katie's book.  No surprise she is worried about Katie up in Flagstaff - the Sedona fire is threatening the area where Katie lives.

And the air quality, with all the smoke and ash, certainly can't be helping Katie's asthma.

OOPS!
This entry never got posted yesterday, but not much to add.  Off in a bit to help Carol celebrate her 87th birthday with a group of Busy Bees.  That will be fun!
