We did not set a new heat record for the date yesterday ('only' tied the previous one) but it was (so far) the hottest day of the year, and more than hot enough to kill a young dog that some SCHMUCK left in a car at the mall here.  Good Samaritans tried to help, but the dog died shortly after being 'rescued'.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?!?!?!?!? If it's too hot for YOU 

(and you know that person went from an A/C car to the A/C mall!)
