Forgot to mention that Tom called yesterday afternoon from Kingman.  He'd stopped to visit a friend and drop off some rocks, and ended up getting the carburetor on the quad rebuilt at a place there (fine idea!)  So now he should be all set to go once he's out in the middle of nowhere.

I think that was a MUCH better plan than just hoping for the best.....
