After I got the front yards mowed yesterday (it certainly looks much tidier out there now) and showered, I whipped up a baby quilt for Summer's upcoming shower; she's expecting a fifth little boy.  

The quilt still needs a yellow border to tie it all together, 

but that shouldn't take long.  And then I can quilt it.

I used some cute owl fabric from my stash, 

and some alphabet fabric I think coordinated well.

I also hope to start quilting the applique project today.
