After a delicious grilled chicken dinner, I was energized to make lots of progress on Tommy's quilt.  It features those baby favorites, black & white for contrast, and lots of color.  Certainly was fun poking through my stash looking for the appropriate fabric, but I found so many I wanted to use that it's turned out to be more of a crib-to-twin-size quilt rather than a baby quilt. Guess that just means he'll be able to use it longer, right?

I finally got to use some of the happy hot air balloon fabric.

I think I'm done for tonight - it's after 10:00 - but tomorrow I expect to sew up the four rows, and then might even work on the sashings in between.  I'll "probably" keep you updated on my progress, so don't worry.
