Wanda called this morning; she needed to run down to 35th Ave. and pick up some fabric she had ordered that had come in, and wanted to know if I wanted to join her.

Before she arrived, I felt good enough to finish up the hair on my current project - which, as expected, literally only took a couple of minutes. Though I only added a few strands,  it definitely made a dramatic difference. And then I was able to return the rest of the yarn to Wanda.

Of course I did not leave the store empty-handed, but still feel proud of the self-restraint I exhibited.  Then we headed to lunch at Las Gloria's, right near Perri's. I gave her a call, and she was more than willing to give up fighting with her new embroidery machine and join us.
