Tom and I worked hard outside this morning. I cleaned the pool, then swept all three porches and the driveway, having no trouble filling up the entire big green can with all those muddy sodden leaves. Tom got Creepy happy again (all the debris is filling up the filters on a daily basis), weed ate, and then scraped all the grass growing up through the cement.  It's pretty muggy out there (we were definitely glad to come in and cool off in front of the fan) but it does look a whole lot better out there now.

Pokey apparently slept in her crate last night.  Guess she figured it was a good place to hang out after her shell got pelted with that hail yesterday?

Some friends around town have posted pix of their storm damage.  Tracy wrote That storm took off the top of our tree that sat by the fire pit. The awning over the driveway is shredded... We are finding a lot of damage this morning. For clean up we will begin by getting our tree off of the neighbor's house today!  and only a block away from their house, at 51st & Camelback, there was serious damage as evidenced by this aerial news photo:

Alex stopped by around 10:00 to say hi/bye on his way to the lake, and got a birthday hug.  The sun is currently shining, and with a little luck the next storm will hold off until tomorrow and not rain on his parade.

I'm all cooled off now, but in a little bit I'm off to the gym
where I will no doubt work up another sweat.
