Lynn got the cute footprint borders on her baby quilt, and they look great (I taught her how to miter them.)  The quilt is coming along nicely, except that the time schedule has been moved up. (NOW she says she should have started sooner.... lol)

Lynn just learned late this afternoon that the baby (already believed to be over 9 pounds) is going to be delivered by a C-section on Wednesday, so that's when she and Brad will be flying to SLC (instead of on Saturday, when her Spring Break starts.)  This means the quilt needs to be done by Tuesday.  She's coming over on Saturday when I will give her an actual quilting lesson, and then whatever she doesn't get done I've offered to finish up - which has taken away some of the stress.

Alex called from the festival site in Dallas; apparently there's a segment of the Austin festival that's taking place in Dallas.  Who knew?  And after leaving here before the crack of dawn (and flying by way of LA ?!?!) I'm glad he didn't have to schlep another 3 hours in a car.
