Alex fixed my camera this afternoon so pictures should no longer be so grainy.  'Somehow' I had changed one of the settings to swap colors, and he just reset it to the Automatic setting.  It took him all of 30 seconds; I had fiddled with the camera - to no avail - for 30 minutes, even looking at the Canon manual and help on line.  

Now I'm all set for the big quilt show tomorrow!
