Alex, Ahmed, and Chris should be happy up at Snowbowl today:

What an amazing way to start March: 11 inches of Powder as of 8 a.m.!  Another 11-19 inches is forecast to accumulate throughout today and into tonight. The skiing and riding conditions are awesome! 

But folks elsewhere?  Maybe not so much...

I expected to wake up to rain, though so far that hasn't been the case.  Frannie had an 8:00 ring time, so she left very early this morning.  Between the early time and the fact that the weather was expected to be lousy I decided not to join in the fun today.

They should be home early, though, and we'll have the whole rest of the day to play.  In theory Marilyn will get all packed up later today and head for home straight from the show tomorrow instead of back-tracking here.  Of course with the bad weather coming in today her plans to hit the road tomorrow may need to be adjusted.
