Somehow a fawn got into the yard today (Terry was surprised because she didn't think the little ones could leap the 4-foot fence) then couldn't seem to figure out how to get back out.  Always trying to be helpful, I opened one of the gates - but my presence in the yard "helped" it to figure out how to escape pronto.

After dinner (Terry made a scrumptious pesto sauce from scratch from her basil plant) we watched Ex Machina, which turned out to be a two-mouse movie.  

We had to pause the movie when Shadow brought in a (live) mouse which he dropped by the couch, and of course before we could catch it it quickly scurried away.  Then not 10 minutes later we had to pause the movie a second time when he brought in another one. Before the movie's end one mouse had already been trapped.
