It's been a productive morning.  I stripped the bed and got the washer going, read a fascinating National Geographic article on The First Year of Life while I had my coffee, put the sheets In the dryer, swam lengths (though only 20 instead of 32), and soaked in the Apple pool while the moon was still up.

The sun was just peeking over the mountain onto more of the Mexican Hat coneflowers.

A pleasant chat with Robert from Taos; yesterday we'd talked about the care-taking of loved ones (he'd cared for his young wife at home for years as she slid into dementia) and today it was our raft trips down the Colorado.

Carly said her pants are really comfy - I liked the elephants (which are apparently playing soccer,  though not sure that shows in the picture.)

"Home" for breakfast and some packing, and soon off for the Last Soak before we start heading home.
