The injured chicken arrived late afternoon yesterday; although her wounds look fairly serious she seems to be doing okay - no obvious infection.  (And apparently she felt so well yesterday that she laid an egg before checking in at the Dodge Animal Clinic!)

She's still resting quietly in her crate, and (so far) hasn't left any additional presents for me.
