I'm back from Walgreens, and it's official -
NOBODY
carries a 2 Gig flashdrive any more!

  And there weren't a whole lot listed in Amazon's electronics section either.
But I did find a 3-pack to order,
so in a few days this aggravation should be behind me...right?!
