It was a routine check-up with the oncologist yesterday afternoon (and at the doctor's office, boring is good!) Will see her next in February, shortly after the 4-year mark, for what I always hope is another boring visit!
Of course I watched the debate last night, and was pleased to see the candidates address the issues instead of calling names, slinging mud, and generally acting like children like the Republican clowns. I wasn't impressed at all with either Webb or Chaffee (don't think anyone was), but also didn't think O'Malley did as well as the post-debate discussion folks seemed to feel. So unless Biden jumps in (and the general feeling is he has been waiting to see if Hillary would implode (which she definitely did not) it seems likely to remain a race between Hillary and Bernie. While I agree with a lot of what Bernie has to say, he's not likely to eclipse Hillary. But just think what the two of them together could accomplish...
In a bit Colleen is coming by to join me at Foothills this morning, and this afternoon she's going to help me tackle the quilting mess in the kids' rooms. Right now the shelves in those rooms definitely do NOT look like this....
Then tonight I'm going out to dinner with Patti (Gary is out of town this week) so we can catch up on stuff; we haven't gotten together in several weeks.
