Mr. and Mrs. Mallard were back today for a swim,

a bite to eat,

and some preening.

He, of course, has that beautiful iridescent green on his head.  

But this is the first time I noticed her iridescent blue!

They also seemed more comfortable with my presence, 

and let me get a lot closer than on their previous visits.
