I've started squaring up my penguin blocks - and when I went digging for my 9 1/2" square I found my MIA Quilt-in-a-Day vine/wave template!
But our irrigation water seems to be lost
somewhere between 35th Ave. and here.
I did the gates on 35th Ave. (it sure was nice when some folks up-ditch took water and they got to do those gates) but an hour later there was still no water in sight. While Tom went to try to find out where the hang-up is...
I called all 3 of the WMID emergency numbers,
but <sigh> was unable to reach someone at any of them.
It's certainly not the crisis it could be during the summer,
but still very aggravating.
