Jordan worked his magic this morning
and 'scooped' the inside of the cabinet.
According to him this never used to happen, but lately he's had to refit several cabinets. Obviously "something" has changed. He was surprised at how shallow our stove is, and was curious about the manufacturer (GE). Like the granite installers, he also thinks we'll get to keep the drawer underneath, which is often not the case. In any event, the installer from Spencer's should be able to hook up our new stove top this afternoon. But if they're going to make their predicted time frame window they'd better hurry!
Jeremy did not have such good news when he came to see about repairing the hot tub.
Because it's so old there are no replacement parts available, so an entire heating sensor/relay/control module would be needed. No firm estimate yet on what that would cost, but his ballpark for parts/labor is $1,000. We see no point in spending that much for such an old unit, so we're 'shopping' for a new hot tub. While that means I'll finally get to have one with a 'recliner' on one side, I don't foresee being able to soak any time soon...
