NO nap yesterday, yet I still made it until 8:00 last night <g> before I decided to head for bed - and then even read for a (little) while.

We had some rain last night (I vaguely heard some of the thunder) and the clouds are still out there so it's going to be yet another muggy day.

Yesterday afternoon I talked with John to get Alex set up with health insurance as of August 1st (since my policy, which Alex shares, will be canceled September 1.)  John was considerably confused about why I would want to start Alex's policy a month early, and says he's NEVER had anyone do that in all the years he's been handling insurance.

But I'd much rather have a month of overlap than find out there's been a SNAFU "somewhere" that has left Alex in an uninsured gap... when, of course, he'd need insurance only to find he didn't have any!

I've already gotten an e-mail from the insurance company,
so at least things are in the works!
