Here is my HUGS quilt from the Foothills ladies - isn't it gorgeous?!

The center block is a bluework Sunbonnet Sue, embroidering 'hugs'.

Linda does such lovely applique work; here's a detail of her whimsical flowers:

And here is a detail of some of her quilted feathers in the border:

And this is me, all teary eyed.  I was totally unprepared for this amazing gift.

What wonderful friends I have!!!!!!!!!!
