These early mornings are taking a toll, and yesterday afternoon I stretched out on my bed thinking I might get lucky and doze off - which I did!  Of course the phone rang and woke me up, so I only logged a half hour nap.  But it seemed to help! 

Patti had me over for pesto pizza last night.  We both liked the new crust she used, and it was topped with lots of yummies.  Of necessity it was an early dinner, mostly because it's getting dark so early these days and I need to be home before that.  She also had to head to the airport to pick up Gary (who leaves again on Sunday.)

For anyone worried about Marilyn, let me reassure you that she can throw out that expired dog food.  I am halfway through the book!
