Yesterday afternoon I corrected my 1/4" 'calculations' and made up a couple of red blocks. (The frog stitching on the green will just have to wait.) This time it turned out much better - the 6' sides match!
In a bit I'll head off to class. Expect to make great progress there, so 'maybe' (LOL) there will be another picture of the blocks later.
We had an elk steak dinner party last night for Kaye & Teresa, and Alex (of course) was able to join us during his dinner break from work. Patti was also invited (Gary is still out of town, plus she's never had elk) but she was scheduled to hike after work (she does that a lot) and had to decline.
At least the telemarketers waited until we'd finished eating to call.
Tom put on a delicious spread (he always does wonders in the kitchen) and the four of had a very pleasant evening together (Alex pretty much had to eat and run.) Teresa enjoyed seeing the Cabo pix (especially the dolphin experience) and Tom and Kaye planned their next hiking/grubbing adventure for next week.
I wish I'd grabbed the camera sooner, when Tom was holding Discovering Arizona and Kaye had Exploring Arizona and they were deep in discussion. Hard to believe there are places here in the state they haven't explored yet!
When they reminisced about an earlier trip and both mentioned the white point that Tom found, I got 'smart' and asked which point it was. Tom got 'smarter'...
He pulled out his binder with photos of all of his frames, each accompanied by a page of documentation, and found the point. Turned out to be from about 10 years ago, and in the frame hanging right above Teresa's head.
