Good news at the doctor today: my shoulder is MUCH better.
(Of course I already knew that!)
But Dr. Cummings was impressed with the improvement.
I also talked to him about my back; although I've been dealing with the bulging disk for the past 19 years I'm concerned now that sciatica had been added to the mix. He recommended a back specialist and I already have an appointment with that doctor next Monday. While I was at it, I asked Dr. Cummings about my (arthritic?) thumb joint that's been bothering me (by getting swollen/hot/painful) for at least 10 years. I always assumed it was just one of the 'perks' of aging, but apparently I may not have to 'just live with it"; I see the hand guy next Wednesday. (He actually had openings this Wednesday, but I'm booked solid, with Busy Bees in the morning and Quilt Camp with Cindy in the afternoon.)
As long as I was in the neighborhood I stopped in a the big Walmart
looking for the ZEP window cleaner.
It certainly wasn't in the Windex aisle (and I had no idea where else it might be) but at least I did pick up a few other items that were on my list.
Stopped at Jeannie's and got to see several clients' quilts when the ladies came to pick them up, and also scored a bagful of pecans from her large trees out back.
I've redesigned the wedding quilt I'm working on (my quilts are often ever-changing works-in-progress until they're finished!) and needed some additional larger pieces of fabrics in Priscilla's color scheme. Jeannie prowled through her stash and found some I could use.
