I didn't make it to the gym yesterday afternoon.... took a nap instead.
Does that count?
Does that count?
We went out for dinner at Humble Pie last night. I was expecting to see Clayton, so when Tyler greeted us I asked him about the elk burgers. Boy, did I feel foolish! FYI Clayton did get the elk burgers (there was always the chance <g> that Alex would 'lose' them - in his stomach - between here and there) and pronounced them delicious.
Stayed up later than I should have,
but 'needed' to finish reading Life After Life, by Kate Atkinson.
Interesting premise, and I enjoyed it. Excerpts from a NYTimes review:
Its heroine, Ursula Todd, keeps dying, then dying again.... Each time Ursula dies, Atkinson (a British writer best known here as the author of “Case Histories”) resurrects her and sets her on one of the many alternate courses that her destiny might have taken.... A great deal of experience, and 20th-century history, transpires in the intervals separating Ursula’s sudden and often violent exits from the world of the living... The mostly brief chapters, dated by month and year, keep us oriented amid the rapid chronological shifts backward and forward.
