This will be GRIPE POST:

You may remember me complaining about the lousy job the pool folks did when they resurfaced our pool.  When they came to 'fix' it, they just made it worse.  Incredibly worse.  

They're finally going to drain the pool, chip it all out, and totally redo it (which is what they SHOULD have done when they came to fix it, instead of just putting ugly bandaids on it.) Unfortunately the temps have now hit the danger point (it reached 90 yesterday) so I wonder if this isn't all just an exercise in futility.

And just to make matters worse

they're going to do it next week when we would be scheduled for irrigation. Which I, of course, have had to cancel.  So while everything is blooming madly (and would appreciate water?!?!) we'll have to water stuff by hand, using city water.  I see a massive water bill in our future.
