Before I leave for the chiropractor this morning I'm going to get serious about posting pix from the Maryland trip; Then on Sunday I hope to post the ones from the Texas portion.

Mother's Day on the porch, with that lovely view!

The pups, of course, were ready to play.
But Pippa wonders, "Where's my cousin Frannie?"

There she is!

Hi, Mom. Happy Mother's Day!

Hi, Bana.  Happy Mother's Day to you, too!

Enough of that.... let's play!

Even though we have a whole porch to use, let's frolic right under everyone's feet, okay? Looks like we really got Bana on this one.

And this one, too!

Here's a demo on how to hang out underfoot.

And when we poop out we can rest - but only for for a few minutes!

Ready for Round 2 later, after we'd been inside for a while.
(This time someone forgot to take off Frannie's britches.)

The puppers shared everything, even their food - though we did separate them at meal times just to be on the safe side.

This hammock Frannie brought with her was a major hit with Pippa, and there did seem to be a contest to see who could score it first whenever they were inside. And that pig that Frannie brought along also?  It had quite the oink inside of it!

See that big bone they are sharing?!
Not a single growl or snarl uttered at any time!

Didn't even matter which dog was currently in  possession of the hammock.

Look what we can use for a game of tug-of-war, since those humans just never pull hard enough - and give in too easily!  You'd almost think we were pulling their arms out of their sockets....

And here's a great idea... let's take it into the kitchen
where we can really get underfoot with it!

Okay - I'll jump around.  Check out my ear in motion!

If we (accidentally-on-purpose?) get in the way, maybe we can bump into one of the humans and make her drop some of the food?

That was hard work.  I'll take a break and just sit in my mom's hap and rest.

And maybe catch 40 winks?

Pippa says she's a lap dog, too!

Hard to see, but there are two bright yellow finches on the feeder.  I loved watching quite a number of them flit about while we were out on the porch; at one point there were at least half a dozen of them perched on a nearby tree.  (Of course I didn't get a picture of that, but by moving across the room away from the chair inside I did finally get this shot.)
